in the King’s Chamber of the pyramid of Cheops
“A Vibration turn into a atom… A atom generates what we call life.
We will meet in Cairo.
During the first evening we will prepare ourselfs to spend the next full day visiting the Giza plateau and round off with a Sound Meditation in the King’s Chamber of the Great Pyramid.
As we know that at every level from the cellular to the surrounding bio-energetic field of the body we are a great network of frequency vibrations. We will amplify it in this environment.
” As Above, as below”, the statment of the Ancient Egyptians : “‘That which is above is the same as that which is below’…Macrocosmos is the same as microcosmos. The universe is the same as God, God is the same as man, man is the same as the cell, the cell is the same as the atom, the atom is the same as…vibration….”
The conception of “dynamic interconnectedness to describe the physical world as the sort of thing that imagination and desire can effect. Mind and body, galaxy and atom, sensation and stimulus, are intimately bound.
During this trip we will work with action movement (walkings, cameltrips, yoga and sufi) to open our body to inner sound – silence – overtone singing.
We will experience the soundhealing with overtones in the Pyramid, the desert and Ghannah Lodge!
Overtones are the essence of vocal sound. Whenever admitted they penetrate into the body in order to bring harmony and therefore balance into both body and spirit. Stillness is the timeless dissolution of the overtones in which the body and everything surrounding it are perfectly integrated.
The modal music which we sing has this as its ultimate function: the dissolution of itself and therefore of us into the universe. That this process is simultaneously a heeling one is obvious. Together they form one whole.
By means of feeling, softly singing, listening and improvising Iris Pattyn teaches us how we can allow the magic of the overtones to become an integral part of not only the music we make but also of the space around us and the
