She works for almost 20 years with sound and native healing methods.

healing instrument.
After her studies as a sound-engineer she became more and more interested in
the human voice. She captured sound for feature films in Europe and by
listening carefully to more than 1000 voices she became more and more a
qualified sensitive listener.
She studied among famous soundhealers and tribal people around the world
were she learned native healing methods, soundhealing, overtone singing .
Tribal people introduced her to ceremony, sacred sound and tribal dances.
During her many study trips she has learned much from
different cultures (such as the aborigines and the American Indians) about
their ancient philosophical and practical approaches to the realm of
ever-expanding awareness.
In her healing practice she developed new ways of healing with the human
voice that are effective for different kind of deceases.
Iris Pattyn also works with professionally trained singers who are trying to
rediscover ‘the voice within’.
She travels around the world to give workshops and healing concerts.
Once a year she takes people to Egypt (where soundhealing was developed on a high
level) and experience with them the magic of sound and silence.
The groups are international and the teachings are in English .
